What is CBD?

Does CBD Make You High?
CBD does not make you high. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the psychoactive component of the cannabis plant. CBD may actually counteract the psychoactive effects of THC. You can consume CBD oil and safely drive, exercise, and do any normal activities.
What Can I Use CBD For?
Research is still ongoing for CBD though some insights have already been gained. Currently, CBD is being utilized or researched for:
- Pain management
- Antipsychotic effects
- Anxiolytic effects (anti-anxiety)
- Neurological disorders
- Seizure disorders
How Do I Use CBD?
There are several application methods of CBD including smoking, consuming, drinking, and applying topically. If you are new to CBD, we recommend topical applications or pills to start. Avoid smoking if you can. Always talk to your doctor before beginning any CBD oil regimen. Though CBD is perfectly safe by itself, it may interact with certain medications.
Where Can I Buy CBD?
If medical or recreational cannabis is legal in your state, you can purchase CBD from your local dispensary. If it is illegal in your state you can order CBD oil online, though it will be derived from industrial hemp, and not as effective as CBD oil in states where cannabis is legal.
